An ordinance repealing Ordinance 68830, and approving the petition to establish the Dutchtown Community Improvement District, establishing the Dutchtown Community Improvement District, authorizing the district to impose special assessments and retail sales tax, finding a public purpose for the establishment of the Dutchtown Community Improvement District, and containing a severability clause. 7 members appointed by Mayor of the City with the consent of the Board of Aldermen.
Location: A tract of land being part of City Blocks 1602, 1603, 1608, 2578.05, 2678.06, 2579, 2586, 2587, 2593, 2594, 2631, 2632, 2633, 2638, 2648, 2650, 2652, 2653, 2680, 2682, 2697, 2698, 2699, 2700, 2724, 2725, 2726, 2727, 2740, 2741, 2742, 2761, 2762, 2777.05, 2777.06, 2799, 2801, 2804, 2805, 2806, 2818, 2821, 2822, 2838, 2839, 2853, 2853, and 2854 all in the City of St. Louis Missouri, being properties generally along the east and west sides of S Grand Blvd, the north and south sides of Meramec St, the north and south sides of Kingsland Ct, the north side of Bingham Av, the north and south sides of Osceola St, and the east and west sides of Virginia Ave.

Board Duties and Purpose

Section Twelve. The Petition provides that the District shall be governed by a Board of Directors consisting of seven (7) individual directors (collectively the “Directors” and each a “Director”), such Directors shall be appointed by the Mayor of the City with the consent of the Board of Aldermen, in accordance with the CID Act. Each of these Directors is the designated representative of an owner of real property within the District.

Member Requirements

Appointments require Board of Aldermen approval.

Each Director must be an owner of real property within the District or a designated representative of such an owner.
