Summary
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of St. Louis, that this body shall advocate for the development and implementation of a prekindergarten through grade twelve curriculum in the City's schools to educate students about the risks of handling firearms and to enable them to recognize situations that may lead to firearm injuries, and identify trusted adults to address these situations, and to make safe choices, combat negative peer pressure, and resolve conflicts nonviolently with the aim of reducing the trauma, injury and death suffered by children, and to share this curriculum and methods for its implementation with agencies and community-based organizations
