Frontier Airlines has announced new service between St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) and Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) beginning August 12, 2018. JAX will be Frontier’s 5th non-stop destination to/from STL. This new route will be offered on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays on an Airbus A320, which can seat 180 passengers. The flights from JAX will arrive at STL at 4:00 p.m. local time. The departure from STL will be at 4:50 p.m. local time.

Non-stop service to JAX has been a priority for STL, as it is a new market not previously served. With this addition, passengers will now have five year-round destinations from STL to Florida on multiple airlines, including Miami (MIA), Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Orlando (MCO), Tampa (TPA) and Fort Myers (RSW) and four seasonal destinations from STL to Florida, including Panama City (ECP), Pensacola (PNS), West Palm Beach (PBI) and Jacksonville (JAX). The new service to STL is part of a larger expansion for Frontier Airlines, with five other markets from JAX also being added.

STL’s has marked 31 straight months of passenger growth since the fall of 2015. Southwest recently announced a new non-stop service to Hartford, CT (BDL) beginning on August 7.  WOW air begins non-stop service to Reykjavik, Iceland on May 17. STL airlines will serve 74 non-stop destinations this year, up from 71 destinations in 2017.

Frontiers Airlines operates out of STL’s C Concourse in Terminal 1. It currently operates four daily departures to Orlando, FL (MCO), Las Vegas, NV (LAS), Denver, CO (DEN) and Cancun, Mexico (CUN). Tickets are available for purchase at www.flyfrontier.com
