June 2023 a Record Month for TSA Passenger Clearance
598,086 passengers reported clearing TSA Security Checkpoints in June 2023
TSA passenger clearance at St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) in June 2023 outpaced any month with similar data for 2019. It was the highest month of passenger clearance through Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoints thus far in 2023. These numbers come from data collected locally by TSA at STL and the federal agency reports the following:
- In June 2023, TSA at STL reported 598,086* passengers clearing TSA Security Checkpoints
- The June 2023 number surpasses any monthly number recorded by TSA in 2019
- In June 2019, TSA reported 589,645* passengers clearing TSA Security that year’s highest monthly total
TSA has four (4) checkpoints at STL. They include checkpoints at Concourse A and C in Terminal One. These checkpoints provide service for carriers including Air Canada, Alaska, American, Cape Air, Cape Air, Delta, Frontier, Spirit, Southern Airways and United. In Terminal Two, there are two TSA Security Checkpoint for Concourse E. They serve Southwest and Lufthansa Airlines.
*These numbers reflect passengers entering TSA Security Checkpoints. They do not include connecting or arriving passenger numbers.
