“In the last few years, we’ve seen passenger growth push through the winter months into the Spring Break travel season showing that demand is growing strong throughout the year,” said STL Director Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge. “We’ve since added new flights and destinations in April and will launch trans-Atlantic international service to Iceland later this month that should really give us momentum through the end of 2018.”

Southwest Airlines launched new service to Sacramento, CA (SMF) and San Jose, CA (SJC) on April 9. WOW air will begin four flights per week with service to Keflavik International Airport (KEF) in Reykjavik, Iceland on May 17. That service will expand to five eekly flights from June 3 through September 23. Near the end of the peak summer travel season, Southwest will launch new non-stop service to Hartford, CT (BDL) on August 7.

STL’s airlines will hit a peak of more than 260 daily departures to 73 destinations this summer.
