Purple skies and red-backlit terminal domes are the highlight of the latest airport trading card by St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL). The dramatic sunset picture of Terminal 1 is the third trading card in the STL trading card program, which is part of the North American Airport Collectors SeriesTM, an initiative of Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA), the industry trade group for U.S. and Canadian airports.

More than 80 airports have now released trading cards in the series since it was launched in 2014. More than 37 new cards, including STL’s latest version, made their public debut at ACI-NA’s Annual Conference and Exhibition this weekend in Nashville. STL led the effort to establish the trading card program through ACI-NA member airports more than four years ago.

“We’ve been overwhelmed at the growth and popularity of the airport trading card program, especially with 15 new airports joining the program this fall,” said Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge, Director of St. Louis Lambert International Airport. “It’s such a simple way for us to share out story about STL with kids, our community and fans of aviation in general. The cards really connect us to the larger network of airports and aviation and why airports are important to all of our communities.”

The airport trading cards feature geographic information, facts and historical information about each airport. STL’s new trading card is free and now available at the Information Booth in the baggage claim of Terminal 1*. The Airport also shares cards throughout the year at community events and education programs.
