Sun Country Airlines announced its fall 2019 schedule with the addition of new flights between St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) and McCarren International Airport (LAS) in Las Vegas, NV. Sun Country’s new seasonal schedule to Vegas begins Thursday, September 5. This new service will run 2x/week on Thursday and Sunday.
Sun Country Airlines has already announced its summer schedule with flights beginning June 7 between St. Louis and Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN (MSP) at 4x/week (Monday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday) and 2x/week (Monday, Friday) to Portland, OR (PDX). The Portland service ends September 4 while the MSP flights continue along with the new flights to Las Vegas through the end of 2019. Tickets are available now at suncountry.com. Sun Country operates out of Terminal 1, Gate C27.
Sun Country launched its first flights at STL in the fall of 2018 with seasonal service to Fort Myers, FL (RSW) and Tampa, FL (TPA) this past fall.
“We’re delighted that Sun Country, one of STL’s newest airlines, continues to offer new non-stop destinations for St. Louis travelers,” said STL Director Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge. “This increase in frequency to Las Vegas gives passengers more options when booking their fall travel and provides a perfect weekend getaway opportunity to a popular destination.”
“We’re excited to continue expanding in St. Louis and to bring more visitors to experience the entertainment capital of the world,” said Chief Commercial Officer Ted Botimer. “It’s been an exciting year for Sun Country coming off our largest network expansion in company history. We look forward to offering our low fares and great customer service to more people and places in 2019.”
STL airlines operate more than 250 daily departures to 70+ destinations serving more than 16 million passengers a year.
