United Airlines is expanding its service between St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) and New York City through its Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) hub in New Jersey. United will be starting a sixth daily flight on a year-round basis beginning March 31, 2019. Customers can book now for the new flight.

The new flight, operating with a 50-seat Embraer-145 aircraft, arrives daily at STL at 3:15 p.m. and departs for EWR at 3:45 p.m.

“The New York City area market is extremely important for St. Louis, especially business travelers,” said STL Director Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge. “The flight increases seat availability and improves ability for customers to find even better options for return flights on short stays at either destination.”

"Aligning to our customers professional and personal needs is a priority, so we are delighted to offer our customers in St. Louis and New York another option to choose United,” said Jill Kaplan, United’s President of New York.”

Newark is already United’s second most-served destination from STL following Chicago O’Hare (ORD). It also serves Denver (DEN), Washington National (IAD), George Bush Intercontinental/Houston Airport (IAH) and San Francisco (SFO).

STL serves more than 15 million passengers annually with 11 major airlines providing non-stop service to approximately 70 destinations. Get the latest passenger activity reports at here.
