About
The Public Infrastructure and Utilities Committee shall consider all matters pertaining to essential public services, including the maintenance, equipment, operation, service, and assessment of rates and charges of public utilities or services, whether City owned or franchised, such as water, electricity, gas, sewer, telephone, internet, and refuse. The committee also considers all matters pertaining to urban infrastructure used by the general public, including streets, alleys, sidewalks, traffic lights, signage, and parking. Maintains communication with the Director of Public Utilities, and the Department of Streets, Traffic, and Refuse.
