Board of Aldermen President Lewis Reed has called for a special session of the full Board of Aldermen, Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 4 p.m. in the Board of Aldermen Chambers for the purpose of approving or disapproving the appointments made by the Mayor to the Board of Freeholders.

“The Board of Aldermen has been working diligently and collaboratively to ensure that the best interests of the residents of the City of St. Louis will be represented by the Board of Freeholders. In order to meet the deadline set by the Missouri constitution, I have called for a special session of the Board of Aldermen,” said Reed. 

The Intergovernmental Affairs Committee will meet to discuss and approve or disapprove the appointments Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 2:30 p.m. in the Kennedy Room at City Hall.
