"It is an exciting day for St. Louis. Today, the MLS affirmed that the City of St. Louis is ready for soccer to come to town. We couldn’t be more thankful and grateful for the Taylor and Kavanaugh families for their continued investment to the future of our City.
St. Louis is the perfect home for the first MLS franchise owned by majority women and they are lucky to have such a strong leader in Carolyn Kindle-Betz.
If we want to address the issues of public safety, housing, infrastructure and more, we need to continue to boost our economy by bringing more revenue into our City. This is one way to do it.
I look forward to the future of this project and the future of this City."
