Court Instructions

The Court and Compliance Department within the Collector of Revenue employs Compliance Officers to work as a liaison between taxpayers, the Collector of Revenue’s Office and the area judicial system. The Court & Compliance Department works directly with both the Municipal Court and the 22nd Circuit Court Division 27.

Please reference your summons to determine where your court case will be held, and follow the corresponding instructions below.

Many cases can be resolved before going to court by calling the Court & Compliance Department. Please contact the Collector of Revenue’s office to resolve any issues prior to your court date at (314) 622-4276.

You will have your case heard by a Judge and will be given instructions on how to resolve your case. Most court dates can be avoided by contacting the Collector of Revenue's Office in advance to resolve your case or make payment arrangements.
