Overview

Businesses or independent contractors in the City of St. Louis must open an earnings tax account. This account must be set up before your business can begin operating in the City of St. Louis.

Preparation

Download and fill out Form E-9.

Instructions

Send your completed Form E-9 to the Earnings Tax Department:

What to Expect

Your earnings tax account will be set up for you. You will not receive a confirmation number.

Your earnings tax account number is your FEIN or SSN.
