Matt Haslam
Matt Haslam is a Senior Epidemiologist at the Department of Health where he investigates disease trends and provides support for the critical programs within the Department. In his 3 years, Matt's contributions have helped shape many important areas that affect our community including Environmental Health, COVID-19, and Violence Prevention.
Matt's favorite part about working in public health is building relationships with partners and stakeholders to address difficult health issues. He serves as co-chair and public health representative of the St. Louis Regional Comparative Modeling Network, which brings together local public health systems, academics, and stakeholders to discuss research projects and encourage collaborative data sharing across the STL region.
Outside of work, Matt is an avid chess player and enjoys backcountry camping.
