The St. Louis Housing Funders Group is holding its first informational forum regarding NINE upcoming funding opportunities, over $100 million will be available. The Forum is scheduled for 7/11/13, City Hall, Kennedy Room,10:30 am.
The purpose of the St. Louis Housing Funders Group is to develop better collaboration and reduce barriers for those seeking funding to develop housing and supportive services in the City of St. Louis. Funding opportunities are not limited to housing development nor non-profit agency. Developers and agencies seeking operational and supportive services funds should also attend.
St. Louis Housing Funders Group participants will include Affordable Housing Commission (AHC), Community Development Administration (CDA), St. Louis Continuum of Care (CoC), IFF, St. Louis Mental Health Board (MHB), Missouri Housing Development Commission (MHDC), St. Louis Equity Fund, Inc. (SLEFI), and Veteran Administration (VA). We have added a national funder, Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH), to participate in the forum.
The other five members of the St. Louis Housing Funders Group include: Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH), St. Louis Development Corporation (SLDC), St. Louis Housing Authority (SLHA), Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and United Way of Greater St. Louis (UW).
