Overview
Because of the Global Pandemic declared on March 11, 2020, and subsequent Federal, State and Local Public Health Orders, for the protection of the City employees and in keeping with CDC guidelines, City of St. Louis employees can use Google Meet to collaborate with colleagues and hold internal meetings.
Anyone with a @stlouis-mo.gov Gmail account has access to Google Chat and Google Meet, a unified communications service that enables text, voice, or video chats, either one-on-one or in a group.
Note: Someone with a Gmail account must host the Meet event, but your guests are not required to have Gmail/Google accounts in order to join the event.
One can use the service even if the computer does not have a camera or a built-in microphone. If there is no microphone, a user can call the number provided in the Google Meet event.
