Lessons in Tax Preparation for Small Businesses

Mavis T. Thompson, Esq., License Collector of the City of St. Louis, was joined by Mary Ingram of H & R Black, Alma Scarborough of Scarborough's Tax Affair, and Tax Attorney, Harry Charles to host the first "Lessons in Tax Preparation for Small Businesses"on Tuesday, March 25^th at City Hall in the Kennedy Hearing Room. Small business owners gathered classroom style to learn from tax professionals about new laws, tax write off's, filing amended returns, filing an extension and important do's and don't for tax preparation. This is the second industry briefing this year that Mavis T. Thompson and her staff have hosted to give businesses access to essential information. The briefing was taped for airing by STL TV.
