Free Webinar Regarding Assistance Programs for Small Businesses

ST. LOUIS -- Mayor Lyda Krewson & License Collector Mavis T. Thompson, Esq. will host a joint webinar Friday, April 10, 2020 at 10 A.M. regarding various assistance programs available to the small business community and its workforce during the COVID-19 global pandemic.

The pandemic has precipitated the displacement and closure of small businesses throughout the City, causing concern for families and our shared community. Given this unprecedented damage to commerce and historic unemployment claims, local government, including the Mayor’s Office and License Collector’s Office, has answered the call to provide the necessary safety net for employers and employees.

The St. Louis Development Corporation has compiled a list of programs currently available from local, state and federal authorities for interested and eligible small businesses. They include:

• Small Business Resource Fund
• St. Louis Community Foundation Regional Response Fund
• The Gateway Resilience Fund
• The Regional Response Fund
• Coronavirus Preparedness and Response Supplemental Appropriations Act
• SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan
• Families First Coronavirus Response Act
• CARES Act
