From the Office of the License Collector

November 30, 2019 is Small Business Saturday, a day dedicated to supporting small businesses and surrounding communities across the country. Founded by American Express in 2010, Small Business Saturday has commenced the day after Thanksgiving for the last 10 years. The success of Small Business Saturday has yielded a cosponsor from the Small Business Administration in 2015, which has continued every year since. What’s more, consumers have reported spending an estimated $103 billion across all Small Business Saturdays combined!

Small Business Saturday has become part of the local fabric of communities across our country. This is why the Office of the Licence Collector is supporting the 10th annual Small Business Saturday, and we encourage residents across the City of St. Louis to support your local small business by shopping, shopping, shopping!
