City Receives Additional $8 Million for Homeless Programs

FOR HOMELESS PROGRAMS
The additional $8 million announced today will provide the
continuation of several current programs administered by local agencies within
the City’s Continuum of Care.
Bill Siedhoff, Human Services Director said, “This funding,
combined with the $8.4 million in stimulus funding we received in May of this
year, is going to allow us to dramatically accelerate our efforts in meeting
the goals of the City’s 10-Year Plan to End Chronic Homelessness that we
implemented in 2005”.
