Open Streets Sunday, Sept 19 – From Citygarden to Tower Grove Park
Boeing and the City of St. Louis are proud to present another Open Streets event on Sunday, September 19th from 8am to 1pm. Streets will be closed from Citygarden to Tower Grove Park. This month’s Open Streets route weaves through Tower Grove Park, the Grove, Grand Center, Central West End, Downtown, and Citygarden.
The City of St. Louis is proud to have Boeing, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Healthlink as Opens Streets partners.
Three Activity Hubs will be located along the Open Streets route at Tower Grove and Shaw, Grand and Washington, and Locust and Garrison. Activity hubs will feature yoga classes, spinning classes, bike service stations, wellness information, fun activities for children, and more! All activities are free. Water stations will be positioned throughout the route for pedestrians and cyclists.
Open Streets is a free event and is accessible to all residents. Come discover that some of our City’s greatest public spaces are right under our tires! Learn more about Open Streets, see a detailed map, and plan your day with the activity schedule at www.stlopenstreets.org.
City representatives will be available for interviews in the days leading up to the event or during the event. For more information, please call Kara Bowlin at (314) 622-3479.
