City of St. Louis Winter Operations for Long Holiday Weekend
Temperatures to plummet single digits by Sunday evening

ST. LOUIS -- Nonprofit agencies, volunteers and various departments in the City of St. Louis are launching Winter Operations this weekend as temperatures plummet into the single digits by Sunday evening. Increased outreach and additional shelter bed space will continue to be made available to accommodate unsheltered homeless men, women, and children.
Referrals for winter shelter should be made through the Housing Resource Center hotline at (314) 802-5444, through the United Way by dialing 211, or by following the protocol for the corresponding days.

Staff and volunteers from St. Louis Winter Outreach, St. Patrick Center, The Bridge Outreach, Gateway 180, Places for People, BJC Behavioral, St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, City of St. Louis, and other partners are working together to decrease weather-related deaths and hospital visits among people who are homeless in the St. Louis community.
