 The winner and finalists of Mayor Francis G. Slay’s annual Holiday Card Design Contest were honored at a reception in City Hall. Eleven-year-old Pearl Dailey from Froebel Literacy Academy submitted the winning design, which has been used for the design of Mayor Francis Slay’s 2010 holiday cards.
            
The winner and finalists attended an awards ceremony and reception in the Mayor’s Office at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16.  Mayor Slay presented each student with a certificate of achievement and a special gift from local businesses.  

“The Holiday Card Contest is one of my favorite holiday traditions,” said Mayor Slay. “I’m continually astounded by the artistic talent of our elementary students. This year’s winning design truly captures the holiday spirit in St. Louis.”

This year’s Holiday Card Design Contest invited grade school children in the City of St. Louis to submit a design for consideration in the contest. Hundreds of entries were received. The winners are listed below:
