Michael McLemore, DPA is a life-long citizen of the City of St. Louis. McLemore graduated from Beaumont High School in 2008. He holds two undergraduate degrees in business administration, two graduate degrees in business administration and public policy respectively, and most recently, a doctoral degree in public administration (DPA).
McLemore began his political career as a congressional intern and became involved in local politics through Action St. Louis’ Black Organizing Summer School (BOSS) Fellowship. Following his completion of the BOSS Fellowship, McLemore became an associate for Meyers-Okohson Political Consulting, where he worked with candidates at the federal, state, and local levels.
In addition to his academic pursuits, McLemore is an alum of the AmeriCorps Saint Louis Emergency Response Team and Peace Corps, where he served in Albania. His interests and hobbies include a love for St. Louis sports teams, long-distance running, powerlifting, traveling, and going to the cinema.
