Trey Prothro

Trey Prothro (he/him) is a St. Louis native who serves as Community Communications and Engagement Assistant in the Mayor’s Office. In the past, Prothro has served as Saint Louis Public Schools’ Media Relations Coordinator and Special Projects and Data Coordinator (Office of Students-in-Transition).

Prothro is a 2011 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism where he earned his Bachelor of Journalism in magazine editing and writing. He also holds a Master of Science in publishing from Pace University in New York City. He is an alumnus of Education Pioneers and AmeriCorps Vista.

He enjoys discovering new local eateries, playing tennis, and watching historical, period dramas.
