Project Background

The City of St. Louis is embarking on this interim project to make a cycle track connection between the MetroLink station at Delmar and the Hodiamont Tracks at Gwen B. Giles Park. A future Great Rivers Greenway project will remake the Hodiamont Tracks. The project is currently in design with construction anticipated later in fall of 2023. When built, the project will include a cycle track (a two-lane roadway for bikes).

Project Objectives

- Create a safe, protected bikeway between Delmar Boulevard and the Hodiamont Tracks
- Improve traffic safety by reduced excessive vehicle speeds in the corridor
- Improve accessibility and safety for pedestrians
- Update pavement markings including crosswalks
- Allow more residents to use the corridor to connect to nearby amenities

Project Status

The project is currently being designed, details will be available later in 2023.
