2012 Summer Cool Down Luncheon

The 9th Annual Summer Cool Down Luncheon was held at Five Star Senior Center on Wednesday, July 11.  A number of city officials, representatives from Aramark, Walgreens and members of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department were invited to say a few words and then helped serve lunch to the senior citizens in attendance. Donated window fans were distributed to needy seniors after lunch and also delivered to home bound seniors who need them.
