Join us Saturday, June 1, 2019 for this year’s St. Louis Urban Gardening Symposium located at Brightside St. Louis’ Demonstration Garden at 4646 Shenandoah Avenue.
The symposium will feature a series of 50-minute workshops led by experts in their respective fields to help gardeners learn how to plan, plant and care for a neighborhood or home garden. Participants will learn about the benefits of incorporating native plants into their outdoor spaces, including providing habitat for pollinators and other beneficial wildlife. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. and workshops begin at 9:00 a.m.
Cost: Only $15 per person. The fee will be waived for St. Louis city residents who qualify as Neighbors Naturescaping participants.

Parking and Shuttle: Parking is limited by the Demonstration Garden. Additional parking is available at the St. Louis City Water Division located at 1640 South Kingshighway, 63110. Please park in the rear of the building and shuttle service will be available to and from the symposium.
Attendees are also encouraged to take advantage of the Symposium’s proximity to the Missouri Botanical Garden’s Green Living Festival happening on the same day. After learning about sustainable gardening at Brightside's Symposium, participants will find additional resources at the Festival to help incorporate sustainable practices into their entire home. The first 100 Symposium guests will receive FREE admission to the Green Living Festival.
