Cross Rhodes Reprographics, owned by Mr. Elmer Rhodes, was presented with a Minority Business Spotlight Award in September by Mayor Francis G. Slay and St. Louis Development Corporation (SLDC) Executive Director Rodney Crim.. Mr. Rhodes has been in the Reprographics business for more than 20 years, contributing to some of St. Louis' most successful construction projects. The company specializes in document management, storage and reproduction of construction documents, large format color printing, and other digital services.
In the spring of 2012, the company partnered with the Minority Contractor Initiative (MCI) to establish the MCI Plan Room, which is housed at the Cross Rhodes Reprographics offices located on Macklind Avenue. This partnership has increased the productivity and professionalism of dozens of minority contractors throughout St. Louis and will continue to do so in the future.
Minority Business Spotlight Receptions are hosted by SLDC to recognize M/WBEs for their achievements and as a networking opportunity for M/WBEs and large companies to build stronger relationships that will be mutually beneficial to each other and to the City. SLDC is the City's economic development agency.
