During a news conference last month, City of St. Louis Mayor Francis G. Slay and St. Louis County Executive Charlie Dooley announced February as "EITC Month" in St. Louis City and St. Louis County. Pictured above, Mayor Slay (r) presents the proclamation to Russ Signorino, Executive Director of GECC.
Now through April 17, people with household incomes of less than $50,000 may be eligible for this free tax service and also may be able to receive EITC tax credits. Residents of Missouri or Southwest Illinois can call United Way 2-1-1 or 800-427-4626 any time of day or night to find a tax site near them or go online to http://www.gecc.us.
