Mayor Krewson Presents 40-Year Service Pin to Michael Bernich

Mayor Lyda Krewson recently presented Michael Bernich of St. Louis Lambert Airport with a 40-year service pin during a ceremony at City Hall.

Bernich began his career with the City of St. Louis as a mechanic at the Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry. As he promoted up through the ranks, he also worked in the Municipal Garage and South Refuse. In 1990 he transferred to the Airport and received several additional promotions to achieve his current rank of Fleet Manager.  

Bernich serves on several boards including Clean Cities, Ranken Automotive and Diesel Advisory Board, and Forest Park Community College Diesel Advisory Board.
