Open Streets 2011
Fun event returns for a second year. This time participate on Oct. 8 in Old North St. Louis and Oct. 29 in The Grove.

Last month, the City of
October 8, 2011 , from 9:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
This Open Streets route will wind through Old North St. Louis. Connecting to the Old North Farmers' Market and the Riverfront Trail, this route is excellent for serious cyclists as well as those who simply want to visit Crown Candy Kitchen, stroll through the marketplace, or see the community's acclaimed revitalization of historic properties. This event will feature Healthy Living activities such as yoga and Zumba, as well as some of
October 29, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The second route will highlight The Grove neighborhood in the City. In addition to the usual Healthy Living activities and entertainment, this Open Streets will also feature Halloween-themed activities for children in the afternoon. There will be Trick or Treating at the businesses along
This year's Open Streets events will offer even more diverse activities, live music, and exciting events than before. We encourage participants of all ages to enjoy Open Streets – be active, meet new friends and neighbors. Participation in Open Streets is free and open to the public.
