(St. Louis – May 4, 2023) Following the announcement of resignation by Circuit Attorney Kimberly Gardner, Comptroller Darlene Green issued the following statement:
“Kim Gardner’s decision to leave on her own terms was a courageous move. I’ve known Kim Gardner as a dedicated public servant. She is incredibly smart, and talented, and has a bright future ahead of her. I wish her all the best.”
Comptroller Darlene Green is the chief fiscal officer of the City of St. Louis and is charged with safeguarding the city’s credit rating and with protecting taxpayer dollars.
