Gateway Transportation Center issues guidelines for travelers during COVID-19 pandemic
To help minimize the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus, GTC has adopted the following guidelines for travelers utilizing transit at the facility.

Notice: With the reopening of city buildings to the public, the Gateway Transportation Center (GTC) has updated its guidance for travelers and visitors to help minimize the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Please see the new guidance, issued June 1, 2020.
(ST. LOUIS—April 1, 2020) To help minimize the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), the Gateway Transportation Center (GTC) has adopted the following guidelines for travelers utilizing transit at the facility:
- Travelers Only: Visitors to GTC must have a valid ticket for travel to enter the building. Those who are picking travelers up should wait in their vehicles and those dropping passengers off must do so outside.
- 2-Hour Rule: Travelers may be onsite for up to two hours. Please arrive at GTC no earlier than two hours before your scheduled departure and/or leave within two hours of arrival.
- Temperature screening: Your temperature may be taken by contactless thermometer upon arrival. Patrons exhibiting a fever greater than 100° F may be asked to leave.
- Social distancing: Travelers should maintain 6 feet between parties where possible. When preparing to board, remain seated until your number is called.
In addition to these rules, GTC encourages travelers to check the status of their scheduled trip with their transit provider before arriving at GTC, and to be mindful and follow guidelines for prevention of COVID-19 spread.
