Appointments are available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

Retirements and participation in DROP are always effective the first day of the month. Application for benefits must be made not less than 30 days and not more than 90 days prior to the effective date.

Please note, at time of application for benefits, you must provide verification of your birthdate. A birth certificate is preferred. Other acceptable documents include a passport, military discharge form, a religious record of birth or baptismal record established or recorded before your first birthday, or verification from the Social Security Administration.

You must also provide verification of your spouse's birthdate and your marriage license if you wish to elect the joint and survivor form of pension.

All documents must be originals or certified copies.
