EPA Administrator Michael S. Regan, St. Louis Mayor Tishaura Jones, and Congresswoman Cori Bush to Visit Drinking Water Treatment Plant and Highlight Water Infrastructure Needs

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Michael S. Regan, in his first visit as Administrator to St. Louis, MO, will join St. Louis Mayor Tishaura O. Jones and Congresswoman Cori Bush at the Chain of Rocks Water Treatment Plant to tour part of the facility and speak to press about the needs for water infrastructure investment. Parts of the facility still in operation date back more than 100 years and the city is facing hundreds of millions of dollars in needed upgrades for improved reliability and resiliency in the coming years. President Biden’s American Jobs Plan includes $111 billion in water infrastructure investments in local communities across the country.
