Public Access to Online Virtual Court Sessions
Municipal court sessions are by law open to the public. Any member of the public can observe the proceedings. Learn how to access and view online virtual court sessions.

Overview
All sessions of the Municipal Court, including online virtual hearings, are by law open to the public to observe. Members of the public who wish to view an online virtual session of the Court may do so via WebEx using the instructions provided below.
Preparation
The WexEx meeting application is required to view an online virtual court session in Municipal Court.
You must also have an Internet enabled desktop, laptop or tablet computer or smartphone with at least audio capability. You may use an I Phone or an android device.
If you have not already installed the WebEx meeting app, the first time you join and view a court proceeding, you will be prompted to download and install the appropriate software from WebEx (or the appropriate IOS or Android app if you are using a tablet or phone).
WebEx may require you to provide your name and a valid e-mail address during installation. When using a mobile application, you may be required to manually enter the meeting number and meeting password to join the court session.
Below are the links for court room conducting online virtual sessions. You will need to click the court room link to join and view that session. You may also enter the meeting room number if prompted to enter meeting information while joining your session. The meeting number is easier to use when you a joinging using a smartphone

Instructions
Similar to a person physically going to the courthouse and looking inside the courtroom to identify what matters are before the court, you will need to click on the link to “look inside” the courtroom to determine what matter is being presented in a courtroom at any given time.
Rules
- All participants will be muted upon joining and will not be allowed to speak unless prompted by the court.
- Members of the public are welcome to view court proceedings but are not allowed to participate or speak in the proceedings.
- Recording of any court session by participants or members of the public is prohibited by court rules.
- The court can and will remove a person from the “courtroom” if they are disruptive.
- A person who is disruptive could be subject to sanctions by the court just as if the person was physically in the courtroom.
Fees
There is no fee for a member of the public to view an online virtual municipal court session.
