BUILDING CODE UPDATE

Effective January 23, 2020, Ordinance 71063, requires new residential, multifamily and commercial construction be 'solar-ready'. To be in compliance with this ordinance, one- and two- family dwellings, townhouses, multifamily, and commercial construction plans shall illustrate the feasibility of a future solar energy system installation, should a building owner decides to do so.
