The Missouri Department of Transportation will close all lanes and ramps on eastbound I-64 between Jefferson Avenue and the Poplar Street Bridge at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9.

One lane and most ramps will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12. All lanes will reopen by 2 p.m. Monday for evening rush hour.

Crews will be working on the section of the double deck just over Interstate 55 and the depressed lanes of I-70 downtown. While crews are working on the roadway above, drivers on I-55 heading to the I-70 depressed lanes may be detoured onto Memorial Drive and back to the interstate for safety.

The detour around this weekend's closure will be to take Jefferson to eastbound I-44 and follow the interstate back to the Poplar Street Bridge.

This is the second of three weekend closures on eastbound I-64 in November.

The Pine Street and Forest Park Avenue ramps to eastbound I-64 remain closed until crews are able to complete joint work at the top of the ramps.
