City of St. Louis Boil Water Advisory Lifted for North City
Boil Water Advisory for North city was lifted effective 5:15 PM, 7/03/23.

The Precautionary Boil Water Advisory that was issued by the City of St. Louis Water Division on 07/01/23 for portions of North city has been lifted effective 5:15 PM, 07/03/23.
The Water Division conducted several tests on water samples collected in this area and has verified the water is not contaminated and is safe to consume.
Update 7/2/2023, 10:30 PM
The Precautionary Boil Water Advisory that was issued by the City of St. Louis Water Division on 07/01/23 for portions of Midtown and South city has been lifted effective 9:30 PM, 07/02/23. The Water Division conducted several tests on water samples collected in these two affected areas and has verified the water is not contaminated and is safe to consume.
The Precautionary Boil Water Advisory that was issued 07/01/23 for North city (Hamilton Heights, Kingsway West and Wells-Goodfellow neighborhoods) continues to remain in effect as tests on water samples collected in this area returned inconclusive results. The Water Division is collecting additional water samples and will analyze them before determining when to lift the boil water advisory.
Test results will be available in 24 hours on 6/3/2023, ~10 PM.

The City Water Division is now issuing a precautionary boil water advisory for portions of its service area due to low water pressure caused by a loss of incoming supplied power at the Chain of Rocks Water Treatment Plant.
There are three affected areas under the precautionary boil water advisory. The neighborhoods are as follows:

- Hamilton Heights
- Kingsway West
- Wells-Goodfellow
Area 2
- Hi-Pointe
- Clayton-Tamm
- Cheltenham
- Kings Oak
- Franz Park
- The Hill
- Southwest Garden
- Ellendale
- Clifton Heights
- North Hampton
- Shaw
- Tower Grove South
- South Grand
- Gravois Park
Area 3
- Jeff-Vander-Lou
- Grand Center
- Midtown
The Water Division has not detected any contamination to the water supply and has issued the boil water advisory out of an abundance of caution.
The boil water advisory is in effect until further notice. The Water Division will analyze water samples before determining when to lift the boil water advisory. Test results will be available in 24 hours.
