Our Land Records Department receives and maintains all incoming real estate-related documents for land located within the City of St. Louis—deeds, liens, affidavits, court orders, and other miscellaneous recordable documents.

Payment for Walk-In Service: No Personal Checks. Pay with Cash, Money Order, or Business Check.

Payment for Mail-In Service: Pay with Personal Check, Business Check, Money Order, or Cash.

• If your documents meet the requirements, the Land Records department will accept your documents and file them.
• If you included a self-addressed stamped envelope, your originals will be mailed back to you.
• If your documents do not meet the requirements, the Land Records department will contact you.
