Daffney Moore Selected as Chief Opportunity Zone Officer for SLDC

To Enhance the Efforts to Identify Projects and Investors for Neighborhood Projects

St. Louis, MO- St. Louis Development Corporation is pleased to announce the hiring of Ms. Daffney Moore as the City's Chief Opportunity Zone Officer. Her role will include continuing the existing efforts of SLDC in Opportunity Zones, and significantly enhance the efforts to identify projects and investors for neighborhood projects. 

Moore will help to coordinate community outreach and engagement around Opportunity Zones and interface with the philanthropic and investment community to attract interest in neighborhood-scaled projects.  

Otis Williams, Executive Director stated “We are excited to have Daffney join our team at SLDC. She is an important addition to our organization and we are expecting great things from her.”

Moore previously worked as the Economic Development Director for the City of Berkeley. Before working for Berkeley, she served as an Urban Planner with the City of St. Louis Planning and Urban Design Agency.
