Project Connect to Hold Fourth Public Meeting February 21

Community invited to Vashon High School to learn about Project Connect’s progress toward final Action Plan

ST. LOUIS–As the final Action Plan begins to take shape, Project Connect will host its fourth public meeting Tuesday, February 21, 2017, from 5:30 –7:30 p.m.at Vashon High School to update the public and seek final input.

Project Connect is the Action Plan being developed by the City ofSt. Louisand its residents that will connect current initiatives being proposed by the public and private sectors in the neighborhoods north of downtown, including the Next NGA West headquarters.

At the meeting, attendees will learn about Project Connect's progress, get an update on the City's site preparation for NGA, and have an opportunity to offer input into the planning process that will help shape the future of the neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods. Attendees may also engage with the St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment (SLATE) about jobs and job training;the Army Corps of Engineers about feedback and site design;and the NGA, whose representative will update the community on planning progress and be able to answer questions about the NGA.
