Board Bill Number 203 Votes In Session 2020-2021
Designation of the Central Baptist Church as a City Landmark
Board Bill
Designation of the Central Baptist Church as a City Landmark is the purpose of the legislation. Designating Central Baptist Church will celebrate the contribution of the building—an outstanding example of Mid-Century Modern design, and of the congregation and its contribution to the civic and cultural life of the Midtown neighborhood and the City of St. Louis. The Board Bill will ensure the historic exterior appearance of the church is maintained and that the design of the community asset is protected.
