St. Louis Comptroller Darlene Green announced today that the City of St. Louis has an operating surplus of approximately $2.3 million for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2015.
Expenditures were about $500,000 under the budget cap while revenues and transfers were higher at around $1.8 million more than anticipated.
By law, half of the operating surplus must go to the capital fund.
