Lisa Richter is an experienced market and communications researcher who identifies and translates research insights into marketing communications programs that change behavior.
Lisa Richter founded Stakeholder Insights, LLC in 2006 after serving as senior vice president for brand management and marketing at the United Way of Greater St. Louis for three years and previously leading the marketing research function of FleishmanHillard Public Relations for 19 years, retiring as a senior partner. At FH she directed market perception and communications audits for brands like Abbott Laboratories, Anheuser-Busch, AT&T, BJC Healthcare, Caterpillar, Charles Schwab, Levi Strauss, Monsanto, Yahoo! and local, state and federal government agencies.
Stakeholder Insights’ healthcare-related clients (2006-present) have included Mercy, Missouri Foundation for Health, Consumer Reports, Health Literacy Missouri, American Red Cross, Developmental Disabilities Resource Board, St. Louis College of Pharmacy, Mid-America Transplant, Brown School of Social Work at Washington University, SIUE East St. Louis Center, FreseniusRX, GO! St. Louis, Healthy Youth Partnership, TriZetto Provider Solutions and Elsevier.
Lisa Richter has lived and worked in St. Louis since 1975. She earned a B.A. in European History at Connecticut College in New London, Connecticut, an MA at the University of New Hampshire in teaching interdisciplinary social studies and art, and studied urban planning, marketing research and digital communications at Saint Louis University and the University of Missouri-St. Louis. In 2009-2010 she participated as a FOCUS Leadership St. Louis fellow. She is currently on the boards of the American Marketing Association, St. Louis Chapter and St. Louis Forum as well as the City of St. Louis Joint Board of Health and Hospitals.
