Informational Videos

Working towards its vision of ensuring optimum health for all individuals, the Department of Health - Men's Health program produced informational videos to help men make their health a priority in their lives. The initiative was inclusive and data-driven as it addressed important areas of concern to help improve the quality and quantity of life experienced by men. These videos are available through a partnership with STL-TV. The Department of Health thanks the experts and the gentlemen who provided insight on their experiences during these tapings.

Breath Better, Live Better

In preparation of Healthy Lung Month in October 2021, the Department of Health - Men's Health program held a discussion about the impacts of chemicals (smoking and vaping) and environmental elements on a man's lungs and information on lung cancer screenings.

Hosted by Tim Lampley, the following individuals shared their stories.

  • Laura Turner, Tobacco Control and Lung Health Manager, American Lung Association
  • Greg Tumlin, Current Smoker
  • Bobie Williams, Men's Health Program Manager, City of St. Louis Department of Health
