In collaboration with Enterprise Center, the City of St. Louis Department of Health hosts a COVID-19 vaccine clinic this Saturday, July 31, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the arena concourse. The clinic will offer the Pfizer vaccine, with second doses scheduled for August 21, or the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine. 52% of the city’s population remains unvaccinated, with the current positivity rate at 12%, up from 3% only six weeks ago.

“The number of COVID-19 cases in our community shows the need for more of our friends, family, and neighbors to get vaccinated,” says Dr. Fredrick Echols, acting director of health for the City of St. Louis. “Only through vaccinations and COVID-19 safety precautions can we reduce the number of positive cases, lower the positivity rate, and safely move through this latest wave of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.”

Saturday’s COVID-19 vaccine clinic is the first clinic held by the city since Mayor Tishaura O. Jones’ office announced a vaccine incentive for city employees. This incentive is the latest measure by the City and state to encourage individuals to receive the vaccine. The state of Missouri last week announced its “MO VIP” biweekly drawings for cash or educational savings accounts, depending on the recipient’s age.

“By offering our city employees who remain unvaccinated these incentives, we hope to not only protect them and their families but the community at large from COVID-19,” said Mayor Jones. “We’re proud to partner with stakeholders like the Blues to help make sure St. Louisans and their families get vaccinated against COVID-19.”

"We are proud to partner with the City of St. Louis, and to have Enterprise Center serve as host, for this Saturday’s vaccine clinic,” said St. Louis Blues President of Business Operations and CEO Chris Zimmerman. “Whether you are a fan of the Blues, concerts or the many other forms of live entertainment you can see at Enterprise Center and Stifel Theatre, getting
vaccinated against COVID-19 is a critical to all of us getting back to the events we love. We encourage everyone who has not yet received the vaccine to take advantage of this clinic.”

Saturday’s clinic provides time for individuals to become fully vaccinated before events return to Enterprise Center, with St. Louis Blues preseason games and concerts both resuming in September. Individuals who receive a vaccine Saturday can register for tickets to a St. Louis Blues preseason game at the Enterprise Center, and receive up to two tickets to upcoming St. Louis Cardinals home games.

If someone is unable to visit Saturday’s clinic, the Department of Health has several clinics planned for August. They include:

  • Saturday, August 7, 10am-2pm, Lane Tabernacle CME Church, 910 N. Newstead, 63108
  • Tuesday, August 10, 5pm-9pm, Strauss Park, 3534 Washington Ave, 63103
  • Saturday, August 14, 10am-2pm, Northside Early Child Care Center, 3033 N. Euclid, 63115
  • Saturday, August 21, 10am-2pm, Enterprise Center, 1401 Clark Ave., 63103
    • This clinic will serve second dose needs for a clinic held July 31, as well as walk-ins.

Clinics are also posted to the city’s COVID-19 Vaccine Information website and the Department of Health’s Facebook page. Anyone with questions or those who would like to sign up for an appointment time before Saturday’s clinic at Enterprise Center can register here, call the Department of Health’s COVID-19 hotline at 314-657-1499 or email health@stlouis-mo.gov.
