Jack Buck Statue - City Landmark #123

To St. Louis sports fans, Jack Buck will always remain "The Voice of the Cardinals".  Dedicated August 20, 1998, this bronze bust of a broadcasting Jack Buck honors his legacy as a Cardinal announcer.  Sculpted by Harry Weber, the bust originally was placed in front of the old Busch Stadium.  It was later moved to the north side of the new stadium along Clark St.  The bust received City Landmark designation after the Jack Buck's death in 2002.
