Shaw Place - City Landmark #26

Shaw Place, comprised of ten brick English Victorian houses, was the brain child of Henry Shaw.  Architect George Barnett took Shaw's vision of a street from his native England and made it into one of St. Louis's most unique landmarks.  The street consists of an oval drive with a center park.  The street was built in 1879.

Shaw Place became a City Landmark in 1971.
